FLIERS
Every Tuesday when I check my mail
Its filled to the brim, without fail
Ads, coupons, mostly junk
Is this for me? Who would have thunk?
I can’t afford the stuff in these ads
They’re all nothing but transitory fads
It’s all just junk, these papers that flutter
Down to the ground, all this clutter
Fliers Fliers everywhere
On the ground and in the air
“lookatmelookatmelookatme” they say
Garish adds on each overlay
I didn’t ask for this, I had no voice
Now I am faced with a difficult choice
Do I leave the litter or put my back out?
This is elderly abuse, without a doubt!
