LEVI’S SECRET LANGUAGE

Levi speaks words in two different ways,
Spanish and English, on different days,
And once in a while, just for funs,
He combines words to make new little ones!

In English what is “Water”,
In Spanish is called “Agua”.
Sometimes he’ll not bother
And just asks for “Wagua!”

In Spanish he likes “Pez”.
In English they are “Fish”.
Sometimes, he’ll address
Them as “Fesh” or “Piz”??!!!

A foot can be left, o izquierdo.
Or it can be right, o derecho.
But whether its shoes or zapatos,
They’re still just a place for his toes!

Levi is a smart little boy.
When choiced between learning or a toy,
He chooses to study through the day,
With numbers and letters while at play.

When Mom says One, Two, Three
Levi skips over to Ten
When Dad says Uno, Dos, Tres
Levi shouts “Ten” again!

When Levi prays it doesn’t depend
If English or if Spanish.
“Amen” or “Amén” is always the end,
All differences seeming to vanish.

After Levi’s busy days
He teaches new words with care
To baby sister, each new phrase,
A secret language for them to share.
