FLY

This is a story about a fly
A hungry fly that began to cry,
For this fly had nothing to eat,
Stuck in a kitchen all clean and neat!

All he wanted was a little food,
When he met this lady who was very rude.
She chased him everywhere through the room,
and through the air he tried to zoom!

The swatter came and he moved to the side,
But she was determined and again she tried.
Soon he was tired, and with a loud SMACK,
The poor fly was hit, with a very hard whack.

He felt himself spin, as he fell through the air,
And wondered if it was over and . . . would anyone care?
All was dark, but what was that smell?
It all smelled so good, he started to feel well!

He awoke to a feast, a wonderful sight,
For into the garbage he dropped in his plight!
There he met more flies, and had a fly wife,
and with all of their children, they had a WONDERFUL life.
